Lizabeth A. Fogel is an educator with a special interest in teacher training and educational media development. She served for ten years as an upper grade elementary school teacher at La Ballona and Farragut Elementary Schools in Culver City, California. Over the years Lizabeth has piloted several language arts and math curriculum programs, was a member of the districts Character Education Committee, helped launch the School Families Program and was a mentor teacher. She also has been an adjunct professor of Educational Psychology at Pepperdine University in Los Angeles, and managed and coordinated the summer student teaching program there. She has received an Honorary Service Award from the Culver City School District, a TIPS Grant from the Culver City Educational Foundation and is a member of the Phi Chi–National Honor Society in Psychology. Lizabeth has two masters’ degrees, one in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Psychology and the second in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University’s School of Education and Psychology. She also has a Multiple Subject, Professional Clear Teaching Credential from the State of California. Currently, she is living in New York City completing research for her dissertation on the influences television and adult mediation have on eight to twelve year olds social/emotional development for her Doctorate of Education from Pepperdine University.
